Global Technology Services Company – Creation of Costa Rica Procurement Team

After several successful recruitment campaigns in the UK for our client, they trusted us to source a small (permanent) team of procurement professionals for a new function they were creating in Central America. We had great success finding high-calibre candidates, initially screening everyone via video interviews, and eventually leading to the creation of the team. This campaign even led to a member of our team learning Spanish!

European Facilities Business – 2 x Interim Category Managers (IT & FM)

As part of proving ourselves in a new relationship with a new client, we were tasked with finding 2 Interim Category Managers who were available at short notice to cover for permanent members of the team who had been seconded onto crucial projects. We successfully found a Software procurement contractor and a Soft FM procurement contractor from our network of associates to solve our client’s challenges.

Global, Niche, Biotechnology Organisation – Interim Clinical Procurement Specialist

This was an interesting challenge set by our client, who required someone with a procurement background who had significant depth and experience with Clinical and Pre-Clinical stakeholders. We had to work in a very consultative manner to finally find the right person, after our client initially plumped to use the services of another person from an alternative provider. Listening to what had gone wrong allowed us to ensure the contractor we were advocating fulfilled the requirements of our client, both in terms of technical ability and cultural fit.

Procurement Technology Services Company – German Speaking Procurement Account Manager

Our client partner had a tricky requirement to fill a newly created role in their Procurement Account Management team. They needed someone who was London-based, who spoke fluent German, and had the flexibility to travel to Germany on a frequent basis. Our initial searches uncovered several options, but no-one quite hit the spot. It was only during the course of networking for another vacancy that we managed to find the ideal professional who hadn’t surfaced in our targeted searches.

UK-Based Research Charity – Fixed Term Contractor (Various Spend Categories)

As a charity, our 3rd sector partner didn’t have the financial ability to secure the services of someone that would typically be needed to come in and support this 6-month FTC. It required us to “think outside the box” to find the right person. We ideally needed to find someone with generalist Indirects experience, from a pharma or healthcare background. The solution was found with someone with all of this experience (and more) looking to return to procurement after several years away.

Public Sector, Government Function – Permanent Commercial Lead (Corporate & Professional Services)

As a large government function, we continue to support the ongoing recruitment needs of our client. This particular role had already been on the market with several of our competitors, so it was challenging finding talent that hadn’t already been contacted. We eventually found the right person after someone in our network recommended them and formed an introduction. This “passive” candidate proved to be the right person for our client, and the opportunity proved to be the right challenge for them to go through with a move.

Global Production Company – Head of Procurement

Due to the growing impact and success of procurement within this leading film & TV production client, we were asked to find an experienced procurement professional with depth of “niche” experience and knowledge of Production, Marketing, and Creative categories. We had to really dig deep into the market to find the right person who would fit this environment. Our mature approach and strong relationship building skills ensured a successful conclusion to this recruitment.

International Maritime Logistics Organisation – Interim Procurement Consultant

Our services were recommended to this organisation via another company that we partner with. They needed a professional procurement consultant to plan, execute and implement multiple cost reduction projects in an area that had been neglected. We found several suitable professionals in our associate network, and after a competitive interview stage the right person was selected. Our consultant was used in various projects during their time with the client, and opened up the door for us to help solve other challenges within the business.
