Full Description

We’re looking for a Client Account Director to join our ProcureTech partner, in a newly created Customer Accounts team. Our professional Services client helps companies reduce cost, manage risk, and increase efficiency for non-strategic third-party spend.

You’ll be joining the company at an extremely exciting period of growth, having successfully launched a new, cutting-edge software solution for their clients. They’re in a positive financial position, with some significant global names in their stable of on-going work.

The team will work with customers across Europe, Middle East, North America, and Asia. You will work therefore on a hybrid-basis that includes time working remotely, in our partner’s offices, or at their customer locations. Having easy access to London is a must, as is the ability to speak fluent German.

You will be responsible for ensuring the success of the customers through the implementation of the innovative procurement technology, and the continued development of relationships with each of our clients’ customers.

You will be leading and coaching a team of account managers to drive high-performance, so leadership experience is required for this role.

This position is not a “front line” procurement position, rather you are managing procurement activity within customer accounts, including technology implementation and support, and managing the performance of operational tactical procurement teams. As with all customer facing roles, superb relationship management skills are essential.

We’re looking for someone with the following:

  • An ability to work in an innovative, collaborative team, with a positive can-do attitude in a time of significant change.
  • Significant experience working in a customer-facing role.
  • An understanding of, or willingness to learn, sourcing and procurement, S2P workflows and processes, and technologies.
  • Experience working with enterprise SaaS is advantageous.
  • Experience of creating and executing account strategies.
  • Effective, empathetic verbal and written communication with all levels of seniority.
  • Consultative project delivery and/or selling experience.
  • Fluent in German.
