Reporting to the Head of Account Management, this is a Hybrid role for someone who is ideally within the Chicago area, although our client will also consider other locations towards the east of the US (e.g. New York, Boston, etc)
Our client helps companies reduce cost, manage risk, and increase efficiency for non-strategic third-party spend. They act as an extension of their customer’s procurement team by executing the end-to-end sourcing, supplier onboarding and contracting process for indirect categories of spend.
They are focused on delivering an innovative and disruptive procurement solution to their customers to make managing non-strategic spend simpler, more transparent, and better value.
They are a global team based in London, Singapore, Middle East, Poland, and Chicago.

The team is focused on developing strong working relationships with C-level and senior customer stakeholders to nurture and grow their existing and new business. Their talented and high-performing global team works with customers across Europe, Middle East, North America, and Asia.
About the role
The Procurement Hive are recruiting an experienced person to join their Account Management team. You will be responsible for ensuring the growth and success of customers through the implementation of their innovative procurement technology, and the continued development of relationships with each of their customers.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Defining and executing an account strategy with your customers to support their success metrics.
- Developing trusted relationships with your customers at C-level, executive sponsors, and important stakeholders.
- Implementing appropriate governance to track and measure performance with your customers.
- Creating and delivering a customer account plan that enables you to identify and grow our revenue with your customers, against defined targets.
- Forecasting and tracking against contracted revenue and growth targets for your customers.
- Managing the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring a smooth transition and successful implementation of the technology platform.
- Execute timely and effective support to customers, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues promptly to optimize use of the technology platform.
- Analyse customer data to identify trends, measure performance, and provide insights for improvement.
- Work collaboratively with other functions, such as sales, technology, and marketing, to ensure alignment and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Leading the execution of contract renewals with your customers.
- Leading new customer development opportunities.

We are looking for someone with:
- An ability to work in an innovative, collaborative team, with a positive can-do attitude in a time of significant change.
- 8+ years of experience working in a customer-facing role.
- An understanding of, or willingness to learn, sourcing and procurement, S2P workflows and processes, and technologies.
- Experience working with enterprise SaaS is advantageous.
- Experience of creating and executing account strategies.
- Effective, empathetic verbal and written communication with all levels of seniority.
- Consultative project delivery and/or selling experience.
